Tennessee eTales Winners 2009

We are pleased to display for you the winning videos of the 2009 eTales competition.   Check out these fun and creative videos telling the stories of Tennessee teachers and students.  These authors were able to write an original story and communicate their story through the use of digital tools. In the process, students thought critically, solved problems, and made decisions to best convey their meaning in this practical demonstration of digital citizenship.  Students and Teachers of Tennessee, TETA is proud of you and your work.  You can enjoy the videos at http://www.teta.org/about.cfm?subpage=717165 or click on eTales in the Quick Links list and choose TN eTales Winners 2009.

We hope our students and teachers will continue to see the potential of digital storytelling in transforming learning environments with technologies.  We further hope to see every school district in Tennessee represented in 2010.  Good luck!

A special thanks to the eTales judges who did a wonderful job working to judge the works through a rubric in a fair and impartial manner.  Two judges from west Tennessee, two judges from east Tennessee, and two judges from middle Tennessee examined the submissions. Each product was judged strictly on merit as described in the rubric.   All eTales were independently judged by two people from outside their region.
