Tennessee Presenters

 

Dr. Wanda Terral, an educator with twenty-nine years of experience, currently serves as the Director of Technology for the Lakeland School System in Tennessee. Once a dedicated band director, Wanda has spent the past two decades in educational technology, continuously exploring innovative techniques to empower students and educators. As a Google Certified Innovator and Trainer, Wanda is known for generously sharing valuable resources and lesson ideas on social media platforms and for presenting at conferences nationwide. She holds a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Memphis, where her research centered on self-directed professional learning for educators. Wanda is an active member of several professional organizations, including TETA, ISTE, CUE, and TCEA, and she is currently a member of the TETA Board in her role as Member at Large for WTETA. Her contributions to educational technology have earned her significant recognition: she was named the Lead PBS Learning Media Digital Innovator for Tennessee in 2016 and the Outstanding TN CTO by the Tennessee Educational Technology Association in 2019. When she's not exploring the latest tech trends, Wanda enjoys snuggling with her cats, coding, listening to audiobooks, or sketchnoting. Her varied interests and dedication to education make her a dynamic and inspiring presence in educational technology.

 

 

 

 

 

Randy Damewood served as the Director of Bands for Coffee County Schools from 1986 to 2005 and now holds the position of Director of Technology for the district. He frequently speaks and presents across the southeastern U.S., focusing on the effective integration of educational technology in classrooms, particularly as a Google Administrator. As a Google Certified Trainer, Mr. Damewood collaborates with teachers and administrators to enhance classroom instruction through the use of innovative educational tools.

 

 

 

 

 

Tina Faust started her career in education as a high school marketing teacher. She was a former Instructional Technology Specialist, where she worked with teachers and administrators across 18 schools to integrate technology in K-12 classrooms. She was a former Department Head of Business and Associate Professor at Walter State Community College and she previously served as a CTE Consultant for the Tennessee Department of Education. Tina is currently employed by Johnson City Schools as an Instructional Design Coach. Tina has presented at numerous professional conferences including the Future of Education Technology Conference, Tennessee  EdTech Summits, and the Tennessee Education Technology Conference. An advocate for technology integration, Tina has worked with several professional societies to plan, coordinate and produce annual technology conferences for teachers across Tennessee. Tina served on teams to train Teacher Leaders and East Tennessee principals on Leadership in Digital And Blended Learning.
