Student Data Privacy Consortium

We are excited to announce that the Tennessee Educational Technology Association (TETA), with the generous support of Classlink, has officially joined the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC), a part of the Access 4 Learning Community (A4L). This strategic partnership marks a significant step forward in our ongoing commitment to ensuring the privacy and security of student data.
What is Student Data Privacy?

By joining the SDPC, TETA members who are responsible for managing Student Data Privacy Agreements with software companies will now have access to a robust set of tools and resources. These will streamline establishing and maintaining data privacy agreements, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and safeguarding our students' personal information.

This collaboration with SDPC and A4L will provide the following benefits to TETA members for free:

• Enhanced Data Privacy Protection: Access to standardized agreements and best practices for managing student data privacy.
• Streamlined Processes: Tools to simplify negotiating and managing data privacy agreements with software vendors.
• Support and Guidance: Resources and support from a community of experts dedicated to student data privacy.
