Announcement from TETA Chair, Mark Howell

We are delighted to share with you a significant announcement regarding the leadership of our organization. After careful consideration and a thorough selection process, the TETA board is thrilled to appoint Ms. Jill Pierce as the incoming Executive Director of the Tennessee Educational Technology Association.

Ms. Pierce's vast experience and dedication to the field of educational technology make her the perfect candidate to succeed Dr. Terry Sue Fanning, who has admirably served as our Executive Director since January of 2020. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Fanning for her unwavering passion and exceptional leadership during her tenure. Her contributions have been invaluable in shaping TETA into the organization it is today.

As we bid farewell to Dr. Fanning at the end of the year, we look forward to welcoming Ms. Jill Pierce to this pivotal role. With her wealth of knowledge and expertise, we are confident that she will bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to guide us as we continue to promote the effective use of technology in education across the state.

Ms. Pierce's appointment will take effect on December 31, 2023, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for TETA. We believe that her vision and dedication will further strengthen our mission and enable us to make even greater strides in advancing student achievement through technology.
